Dear Supporters of The Declaration of Peace,
Thank you very much to all who contributed to The Declaration of Peace in response to our May 2008 fund appeal and during the month of June. Thanks to your financial support, we surpassed our modest goal, and have met all of our mid-year expenses.
Your response to our appeal is a great example of grassroots activism in action. Everyone’s contribution, whether it was $10, $20, $25, $50 or $100, combined with other donations to get the job done.
That’s just how the war and occupation in Iraq will be ended –- by the combined efforts of The Declaration of Peace network of activists and organizers, and through the consolidated, diligent work of the anti-war movement across the country.
Thank you for making it possible for The Declaration of Peace to continue this campaign to help bring Peace to the people of Iraq.
We’re committed to nonviolence and to the effort to end the U.S. occupation of Iraq. As we move forward, we hope that you will recommit to be actively engaged with The Declaration of Peace.
We sincerely appreciate every effort that every person is making to end the war!
Thank You!
