Iraqi names on the wind... Over 100 hours of original research, verification and transliteration back into Arabic, yielded 2800 actual names of Iraqi civilians who had been killed in the war, when this scroll was first made. Those names were reproduced to represent the 35,000 deaths reported at that time, and the scroll has since been enlarged to 43,000 names (always using the most conservative current estimate of Iraqi civilian deaths).
